*D.R. Horton, Inc.*is currently looking for a*_Sales Area Selling Manager - WA_*. The right candidate is responsible for managing the sales process, hiring, training, managing and motivating sales staff in a specific geographic area while providing excellent customer service. The Sales Area Selling Manager continuously sources new customers, helps customers find and design their dream home, and ensures a smooth sales process.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Recruit and hire future sales representatives
* Train and motivate sales representatives
* Meet or beat set sales goals, and including selling and closing homes under area of responsibility
* Create new sales incentives for neighborhoods
* Conduct realtor outreach (realtor breakfasts, lunches, office presentations)
* Collaborate with the marketing coordinator/manager and division manager on advertising campaigns
* Introduce and promote marketing promotions to the sales representatives
* Stage grand openings and promote new phases
* Perform competitive analysis on product, features and neighborhoods/amenities
* Effectively communicate DR Horton's value proposition, product vision and capabilities to potential customers
* Uncover and understand customer goals and challenges then establish DR Horton as the best solution available
* Overcome objections and closes for the sale
* Maintain accurate documentation of transaction from sale through loan, options and construction
* Continually source new sales opportunities
* Conduct sales meetings
* Manages time efficiently to meet sales goals and works effectively with other members of the team
* Creates and provides to management a marketing plan for establishing new customer relationships
* Maintains and expands database of prospects
* Develops and maintains good rapport with prospective customers, realtors and team members
* Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards
* Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
*Supervisory Responsibilities*
Directly manages two or more employees in the Sales & Marketing Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.**//__

*Education and/or Experience*
* Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Must have a vehicle, valid driver's license and be able to drive in daytime or at night
* Ability to utilize DRH Sales applications on a smart phone, tablet or laptop
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral form or via DRH Sales applications
* Proficiency with MS Office and email
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Licensing requirements vary by state
* Prior CRM software experience
* Previous sales experience, knowledge of industry preferred
* Excel in intercommunications and interactions
* Strong motivated
