Taylor Morrison is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and innovative Brand Copywriter for one of the nations leading home building brands. This position will aid in the development and execution of a content strategy that aligns with and supports our brand. We are focused on providing a best-in-class customer experience, and you will have a significant role in helping us achieve that goal.

What Youll Do

As a Brand Copywriter for Taylor Morrison, you will craft headlines with stopping power and engaging content that is personal and powerful. Your work will be featured across various channels including, but not limited to: print, digital, video, and social media. The Brand Copywriter will produce error-free content and have the skills and attention-to-detail to edit their own work. The ideal candidate will need the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines seamlessly and will contribute to multiple aspects of consumer communications.

The Brand Copywriter will have the ability to connect with our wide variety of consumers and be able to work in a fast-paced market that occasionally requires irregular work hours and quick turnarounds. We are looking for a candidate who is creative, innovative and able to easily adapt to rapid changes in consumer preferences. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and using data to make marketing decisions.

The Brand Copywriter will:

  • Be part of an in-house creative team
  • Write engaging content that inspires diverse audiences across different channels and reflects our brands voice
  • Collaborate with Marketing, PR and Customer Experience to develop a variety of marketing materials
  • Produce error-free content that adheres to the company's style guidelines
  • Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines
  • Propose copy concepts and present underlying strategic thinking to business leaders
  • Perform other duties as assigned

You might be just who were looking for if you have

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a copywriter with a portfolio of demonstrated success
  • Excellent writing skillsincluding copywriting, editing and proofreading
  • Experience in producing copy for digital, print and broadcast channels
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Exceptional skill with the nuances of social media writing, including the use of hashtags, emojis and acronyms
  • Solid understanding of SEO concepts

FLSA Status: Exempt

Will have responsibilities such as:

  • Office or non-manual work, which is directly related to management or general business operations
  • Act as a primary component of which involves the exercise of independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance

Essential Functions:

  • Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
  • Ability to oversee direct reports daily and provide guidance as needed
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
  • Ability to have face to face conversations with customers, co-workers and higher level manager
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Comply with company policies and procedure

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
