The Business Intelligence Analyst II may perform a wide variety of complicated tasks and is expected to be able to use a wide degree of creativity and latitude and effectively collaborate and communicate with others in IT as well as the business with limited oversight.

We trust that as the Business Intelligence Analyst II you will: (responsibilities)
Design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions
Craft and execute queries upon request for data
Presenting information through reports and visualization
Become proficient in the Mortgage and Title business process and associated business applications to engage in value-added database and reporting solutions
Participate in meetings to identify business needs or to help present new features
Consume detailed technical requirements and work closely with peers in order to program/code/develop reporting solutions
Produce insights from multiple complex homebuilding and financial application systems
Continuously pursue personal improvement and growth in BI development skills
Contribute to system documentation and training material as needed
Utilize pre-defined coding standards and industry best practices
Understand / comply with security and audit requirements for BI/Reporting, including SOX
Participate in end user testing of system deliverables
Work on end user problem tickets daily in coordination with peers and the Help Desk
Meet or exceed Service Level Agreements and standards defined by the business and IT
Comply with corporate policies and procedures for all projects

About you:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with technical and functional team members in a fast-paced company culture
5-8 years of experience with Power BI report development with various data sources (SQL, JSON/Web, etc)
3-5 years of experience writing T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Knowledge of the mortgage industry processes and procedures a plus
Experience with relational database concepts and dimensional modeling concepts
Experience identifying and working through process improvement activities
Self-motivated individual with ability to work independently and take initiative
Flexible and creative but structured and organized when needed
Strong knowledge using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
