Senior Construction Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Construction Project Manager to join our Calamar team in the Buffalo Metropolitan area. This position operates on a senior-level of work and responsibilities. You will organize, oversee, and manage construction projects from design to finish, An excellent Senior Construction Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.

The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Oversee the overall management and delivery of several commercial constructions projects.
• Prepare and manage project schedule.
• Assist with preconstruction and estimations throughout projects.
• Implement and maintain budget and schedule controls.
• Review and evaluate documentation, plans, design, and contracts.
• Attend meetings, capture minutes, identify risks, and record issues.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.

• Bachelor’s degree Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture or related field of study required, Master's preferred.
• 8-10+ years experience in Construction/Project management.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Software Programs, ProCore and other industry standard computer programs.
• Previous experience in commercial construction.
• Previous experience with wood framed multi-story construction.
• OSHA 10 Certification required. Knowledge of OSHA Compliance Construction Standards.
• A valid Driver's License (travel required)
