WSP is currently initiating a search for a full time Senior Graphic Designer. The position can be located within any of our major states within the West Region (Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Utah).

While based in a specific office, the Senior Graphic Designer will serve as a regional resource working throughout a multi-state region. The position will integrate with a high performing, supportive team of marketing coordinators, graphic designers, and strategy development staff responsible for securing some of the largest infrastructure projects in the Western U.S. This position offers opportunities for growth as an individual and as a professional. Compensation and Benefits:
 
WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.
Expected salary: $76,400 - $155,900
 
WSP USA is providing the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Provide senior leadership within the West Region graphic design team, driving industry-leading creative approaches to proposals, presentations, printed and digital materials 
  • Work independently with proposal and presentation teams on storyboarding and graphics development, and translate business information and reports into charts and graphics
  • Envision and create graphics that convey complex technical subjects in a compelling and easy to understand manner
  • Work closely with technical and marketing teams to execute all graphic elements of proposals, from long document layout in InDesign to individual graphic development for placement within document
  • Contribute to implementing workflow enhancements for the graphic design team

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite Skills (Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoShop, etc.)
  • Advanced Microsoft Word, PowerPoint skills
  • Strong design sense and creativity with integration of color, typography, photography and illustrative graphic elements
  • Strong, effective written and verbal communication and organizational skills with a customer service orientation
  • Strong attention to detail and a committment to excellence while working in a deadline oriented environment
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the architecture, engineering, construction, journalism, real estate or service related business
  • Experience leading process enhancements
  • Experience leading teams and supervising staff
