Senior Vice President, Product Solutions Strategy Lead D&I

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Provide catalyst to drive product growth through a combination of technical innovation, product maturation of QRC®, Blackhorse Technologies, Unconventional Access (legacy 4D), C2Core®, Intellisight™, PeARL™, Braxton Science and Technology, ZEUS®/RADBO and Dfuze, and optimization of cross-corporate capabilities to provide unique solutions to customers. This individual will be the lead for products for D&I to interact with other corporate product initiatives. This individual has a combination of demonstrated successes in operational product leadership, strategic growth initiatives, business development, P&L operations, science/engineering, and product development.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Strategy
o Provide thought leadership in developing Defense & Intelligence (D&I) Business Unit level product solutions and strategy for product growth across each of the following legacy organizations and product lines QRC®, Blackhorse Technologies, Unconventional Access (legacy 4D), C2Core®, Intellisight™, PeARL™, Braxton Science and Technology, ZEUS®/RADBO and Dfuze
o Work closely with the Sector, Business Unit, Corporate Product Development, and Corporate Executive Team to develop and refine the strategic roadmap for long-term (~6-36 month) growth, based upon technical innovation, differentiated value proposition(s), and sustained competitive advantage(s).
o Work with each Sector within D&I to organize each product offering for future success
o Develop new product offerings across each Sector
o Structure strategic market and technology partnerships with large and small businesses, including key technology partners
o Ensure that strategic IR&D/product development investments are integrated and coordinated across the company to maximize Return-on-Investment.
o Work with corporate Chief Technology Officer organization to identify high-value product acquisition targets and participate in corporate development/M&A activity to support product strategic roadmap (s).
o Support Sector leadership in crafting strategic responses to respond to changes in the external and internal environment; serves as a change agent for the market related to products
o Work directly with marketing to ensure all product branding campaigns for all existing and future products are aligned to our product launch schedule (Work directly with each Product Owner for this initiative)

* New Business Development
o Collaborate with sector leadership (Sector EVP and EVP of Growth) to identify specific opportunities to accelerate organic growth within D&I business unit.
o Identify and align corporate capabilities to best capture organic growth opportunities
o Support each product lead to ensure a solid product pipeline of leads and opportunities to increase sales to drive top and bottom-line growth
o Maintain strong, current knowledge of competitors and industry partners

* Profit & Loss
o Identify and define revenue and margin expansion opportunities for the D&I Business Unit and work with Sector leadership in pursuing these opportunities

* Customer Engagement
o Maintain regular contact and strong relationships with important clients and customers both on existing programs, product sales, execution, and new business pursuits
o Use information about customer needs as the basis for determining growth opportunities and shaping product strategies
o Anticipate how plans and actions of the market will affect the customer


* Productization
o Lead representative for the D&I Product Review Board for product development/sales
o Create framework for converting technical capabilities into sellable products. Capable of being sold to new and existing customers.
o Mature each existing technology/capability into sellable products. Example- PeARL™.

External Contacts - Customers, partners, and subcontractors


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-year degree in related field and 25+ years of broad and diversified experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience selling the QRC® product
  • Detailed knowledge of QRC® product specifications
  • Existing customer contacts for QRC® product sales
