Sourcing Manager, Facilities Services - FacilitySource

POSITION SUMMARY:


This position is responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing a service provider network in support of facility services programs. The position utilizes management experience and analytical skills to generate and implement efficient sourcing strategies at local and regional levels with an overall objective of increasing operational efficiency, improving supplier performance, and increasing profitability. This position will also be responsible for overseeing a core trades category and managing the service provider base in support of client and corporate objectives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Responsible for designing and implementing sourcing strategies and procurement plans to support account, corporate and client strategies and objectives.


Drafts, reviews, negotiates, and maintains contracts and other business documents in support of the purchase of goods and services


Develops and manages relationships with national/regional/local service providers


Develops and manages work order dispatch strategy for supply base in support of client requirements.


Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.

 

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

 

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge of database reporting and manipulation 

 

Requires sound knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts financial analysis.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


Bachelorâs Degree

 

Minimum of five years of related HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or General Maintenance trades or service provider experience and/or training. 

 

Minimum two years of experience in sourcing facility management services, trades, and supplies
