WSP is currently initiating a search for a Strategic Delivery Risk Analyst (Senior Supervising Project Controls Specialist) for our Fresno, California office.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and works with project manager and stakeholders in performing and supporting project controls activities, providing project controls oversight.
- Create, implement and execute project controls plans to support contract requirements and the successful execution of project controls  supporting project and WSP commercial interests.
- Serve as the focal point for all matters relating to the estimating, planning/scheduling, cost control, document control, Earned Value Management and scope/change control for allocated projects and within the business.
- Resolve issues and provide consistency between the estimating, planning/scheduling, cost control, and scope/change control functions and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain CPM schedules, and review and recommend contractor/consultant schedules 
- Develop and prepare project control reports with corrective action plans when required.
- Develop and Maintain a Project Earned Value Management System (EVMS) database, to measure progress and calculate performance metrics, analyze and report variances to plan based on predetermined variance thresholds.
- Coordinate, develop and maintain risk registers to make sure that the potential risks are identified; assessed and quantified; risk treatment actions are identified; actions are taken to avoid or reduce the impacts; and monitored and reported on.
- Ability to travel occasionally required.

Requirements

<div><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></div> <div>- A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Construction Management</div> <div>- A minimum of 10+ years’ experience in the engineering/construction industry</div> <div>- Strong knowledgeable of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling and have knowledge of industry standard scheduling tools for reporting and tracking program and project activities. In particular, a strong working knowledge of Primavera P6, with emphasis on detail cost-loading techniques </div> <div>- Strong oral and written communications skills</div> <div>- Advanced knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 software</div> <div> </div> <div><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></div> <div>- Demonstrated work experience on major transit systems</div> <div>- Working knowledge of Tilos linear scheduling software</div> <div>- Working knowledge of @Risk and Primavera Risk Analysis software</div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div><strong>About WSP USA</strong></div> <div> </div> <div>WSP USA is the U.S. operating company of one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
