You, as a Structural Engineer, will have a role in driving this growth.  You will participate in structural and bridge projects, performing tasks in a variety of areas. The position will focus on transportation design; however, projects will include a combination of bridge structural design and bridge management services, including inspection as well as other areas. You will develop your engineering expertise as well as have opportunities to grow your business skills to enhance your career and be an integral part of WSP's successful team. Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Perform structural computations and analysis
  • Perform structure related field work including bridge inspection
  • Support the preparation of high quality design plans, quantities, cost estimates and special provisions
  • Collect data, gather information, produce documents and reports
  • Attend design meetings and coordinate with team members in all disciplines
  • Assist more experienced engineers in broader engineering activities


<div>Minimum Qualifications:</div> <div class="O0"> <ul> <li>BSCE from an ABET Accredited Institution</li> <li>3 to 5 Years of Bridge Design Experience</li> <li>Ability to work in this country immediately is required.</li> <li>Good technical writing, analytical and communication skills</li> <li>Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or F.E. Certification, Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred</li> </ul> </div> <div> </div> <div>Preferred Qualifications:</div> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience in working integrally with team members to deliver clients’ projects.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience with MnDOT and/or other state transportation agencies and local public agencies</li> <li>Bridge inspection experience</li> <li>Design-Build or other Alternative Delivery experience a plus</li> <li>Past projects using AASHTO Bridge Design specifications, State agencies bridge design manuals and bridge inspection manuals.</li> <li>Experience with engineering software such as:  AASHTOware Bridge, LARSA, MIDAS or other FEA, LEAP Bridge Concrete, MDX, MATHCAD,        AutoCAD, MicroStation, GEOPAK, INROADS </li> </ul> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div>About WSP USA</div> <div> </div> <div>WSP USA is the U.S. operating company of one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
