WSP is currently initiating a search for a Supervising Engineer for our Salt Lake City, Utah office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Improve overall quality and delivery of projects throughout discipline
  • Manages tasks as part of project development, including plan and report production
  • Performs a range of marketing and business development activities, including gathering client intelligence, leading pursuits and proposals, and interfacing through professional organizations
  • Helps lead growth and development of the structures engineering team, including interfacing with local/regional Area Managers, meeting with clients to develop and expand work, and strategically teaming with other consultants
  • Interfaces with staff from a range of other disciplines (traffic, civil, planning, geotechnical, etc.) to support a diverse range of projects
  • Assists in supporting agency coordination, permitting, and public participation activities
  • Provide leadership to a talented group of professionals spanning all career levels as they work on a multitude of transportation projects
