Supply Chain Equipment Specialist

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Responsible for supporting the day to day operations of the Equipment Solutions organization, with an emphasis on building customer relationships. This position plays an integral role in managing a wide range of processes on behalf of the Project teams, Equipment Facility Teams, Buyers and ESM HQ Leadership (Equipment Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing).

KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

A. Follow established procedures in relation to receiving and processing equipment facility orders and returns from the field

B. Source equipment internally and through 3rd party rental and service suppliers

C. Generate purchase orders for equipment purchases and rentals

D. Reconcile and process the billing of contracts, invoices, and work orders daily

E. Support electronic Inventory Management

F. Support physical Inventory Management on project sites or within equipment facilities

G. Update and change, as needed, Task Code and Off-Rent date with input from project teams (customers)

H. Responsible for Inventory Management reporting to teams, which includes scheduled and on-demand reporting; includes review and quality control of reports

I. Reconciliation of fleet invoicing with Accounting, fleet vendors and project teams

J. Provide equipment solutions and issue resolution for project teams, including recommendations for type and maintenance of equipment

K. Facilitate the ordering of vehicles for team members and projects

L. Handle the Department of Transportation (DOT) registration and respond to DOT and driver inquiries

M. Participate in equipment facility safety program, including environmental surveys and responsibility for Mortenson's Zero Injury policy

N. Dispatch and scheduling of equipment deliveries, including logistics planning

O. Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

P. All other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES POSITION DESCRIPTION

A. Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills

B. Superior attention to detail and accuracy

C. Shown positive and professional attitude and strong customer service skills

D. Ability to asses and determine the priority of multiple customer needs

E. Working knowledge of purchasing/rental processes and procedures

F. Strong organization and planning skills

G. Ability to influence

H. Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A. Bachelor's Degree and two years of relevant experience or six years of relevant experience

B. Experience with billing software ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires the following with or without an accommodation; sitting, seeing, hearing, and utilization of a computer and office equipment.
