We have an immediate need for talented Senior System Administrators. Our team provides an Enterprise level system of access control, intrusion detection, and associated physical, electronic, and technical security elements. The Senior System Administrator provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology Systems and the associated software and applications.



  • Must have an Active TS/SCI w/ FSP
  • Applicants selected for employment may be subject to a federal background investigation and may need to meet additional eligibility requirements for access to classified information or materials.
  • Career level with a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts. Working under only general direction, provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 5 - 7 yrs of experience, or a Master's and 3 to 5 yrs of experience.

  • Be a LENEL Certified Professional (LCP) with concentration areas in Core, Intrusion and Access Control disciplines within six months of personnel starting on the contract.
  • DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II or higher, obtained within six (6) months of personnel starting on contract.
  • Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT Systems.
  • Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
  • Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
  • Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
  • Troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Provides detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
  • Perform IAVA updates and patching to ensuring compliance with Information Assurance (IA) standards
  • Configure and maintain Windows based operating systems
  • Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG's) to Windows based operating systems
  • Create technical documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOP) and as builds for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Implement and maintain sophisticated Enterprise Windows Active Directory Architectures, Group Policies, and other Windows based functions.
  • Perform daily operations to include Active Directory management, monitoring and reviewing system logs
  • Configure and maintain virtual hypervisors to include VMware and Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV)
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platforms to include Citrix Xen Desktop
  • Install, configure, and maintain 3rd party applications
  • Install, configure and maintain highly available SQL database Engines
  • Deploy and maintain storage platforms similar to Dell EqualLogic and Dell Powervault
  • Analyze requirements of future deployments and make recommendations for IT infrastructure necessary, to include all hardware and software
  • Perform root cause analysis on significant issues across all tiers of support
  • Develop new system and application implementation plans to include testing procedures and ensuring operational reliability.
  • Stays current with technological developments and makes recommendations for ways to take advantage of new and emerging technology.
  • Subject matter expert for System Administrator 1 and 2 personnel on team. Mentor junior personnel. Assist management with organization and leadership of System Administration Team.

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
