Role: We are looking for a technically-oriented Systems Engineer subject matter expert who is familiar with PM Electronic Warfare (EW) and Cyber programs to assist as part of a software system development team working in a field and laboratory environment. This person should be willing to get deeply involved with the technical and system integration aspects of the system under development, while providing military domain expertise and guidance, as it relates to the Cyber/EW domain, to keep the team on track in addressing requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Applies military sensor to shooter knowledge and doctrine to high level analysis, collection, assessment, design, development, modeling, simulation, integration, installation, documentation, and implementation.
  • Resolves problems, which require an intimate knowledge of the Cyber/EW in the Multi Domain Operation environment. Applies principles and methods to specialized software and system solutions.
  • Serves as member of project teams providing direction, interpretation and alternatives.
  • Demonstrates superior written and oral communications skills.
  • Collaboratively contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects.
  • The candidate shall perform demonstrations, deliver briefings and presentations, develop technical reports and whitepapers, and otherwise represent the assigned CP&I project(s) as required.
  • The candidate shall assist project and program management staff as needed with the development and review of project plans, schedules, and other programmatic efforts.

The candidate shall interface with Network Cross Functional Team (NCFT), Program Executive Officer (PEO) Command, Control, and Communications-Tactical (C3T), Project Manager Mission Command (MC) and PM Tactical Networks; PEO Soldier, Project Manager Soldier Warrior; the Maneuver Center of Excellence; the Mission Command Center of Excellence; and other US Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command (RDECOM) Centers, Directorates, and other organizations as needed in the fulfillment of these tasks.

CPC Team EXPERIMENTATION AND DEMONSTRATION SUPPORT

The candidate will Travel up to 20% of the time. OCONUS travel may be required.

EVENT/DEMONSTRATION COORDINATION

The military SMEs shall assist the government in planning, coordinating, and/or facilitating interactions with military units and other Army stakeholders regarding arrangements for demonstrations, presentations, exercises, experiments or other activities requiring close coordination with other military organizations. These events and interactions may occur both CONUS and OCONUS. The military SMEs shall provide advice on the proper protocols to be followed and the personnel (by staff position) who need to be brought into the coordination process.

Qualifications:

  • HS diploma required
  • At least 8 years of experience in analysis and research in military aspects of Cyber and EW/sensor to shooter areas, military principles, theories and concepts.
  • Security Clearance: An active interim SECRET clearance is required to start. Higher Level of Security Clearance may be required and specified in the Government's Task Order.

Preferred/Desired Skills:

  • A Bachelor's Degree will be preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience
  • The preferred candidate would be a former company / field grade officer, or Senior Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) having worked on CO/BN/BDE/DIV staffs or equivalent in other military service branch, with familiarity with U.S. Army Mission Command and the Military Decision Making Process.
  • Valid State Driver's License and ability to pass all security requirements IAW installation Provost Marshall's Policy in order to gain access to the installation.
  • Proficiency in the organization, operations, regulations, policies and procedures of the military client.
  • Critical thinking to solve problems, prepare, staff, and provide recommendations to address challenges and constraints related to the client organization.
  • Proficiency in oral and written communicative skills.

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
