WSP is currently initiating a search for a Transportation / Transit Planner for our Seattle, Washington office.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
• Work with a team of transportation professionals to creatively solve multimodal transportation problems, with an emphasis on transit service and operations planning
• Collect and analyze a wide range of transportation data
• Prepare and verify data supporting transportation planning and travel analysis
• Conduct technical analysis, feasibility studies, and other transportation analysis
• Document methodologies and results
• Conduct project research and direct junior staff
• Develop Planning reports
• Prepare materials for, and participate in client or public meetings

Requirements

<div>Minimum Qualifications:</div> <div>• 6+ years of relevant experience</div> <div>• Bachelor's degree in engineering, planning or related field</div> <div>• Demonstrated experience in transportation planning, transportation systems analysis, urban planning, and policy analysis <br /> • Strong working knowledge of MS Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</div> <div>• The ability to complete project work on time and on budget</div> <div> </div> <div>Preferred Qualifications</div> <div>• Completion of Master's degree program in transportation planning, transportation engineering or related course of study</div> <div>• Statistical analysis</div> <div>• Ability to independently manage staff, projects and tasks</div> <div>• Project management experience preferred</div> <div> </div> <div>About WSP USA</div> <div> </div> <div>WSP USA is the U.S. operating company of one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
