WSP is currently initiating a search for a Transit Project Manager for our Minneapolis office. Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Act as a technical expert on Bus Rapid Transit projects at all phases, from concept to construction
  • Provide Project Management on medium to large size projects with opportunity to grow, including contract negotiation and managing to a scope, schedule, and budget
  • Support larger projects as a Task Manager, Segment Manager or discipline expert
  • Aid local offices pursuing or delivering BRT projects with technical expertise, including opportunities to travel
  • Demonstrate your skills to the industry through conference presentations and paper publication
  • Assist in growing the business by building relationships, writing marketing proposals and providing other business development support
  • Management of technical staff

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
  • PE with 12 plus years of experience in Bus Rapid Transit projects or equivalent
  • Experience working with the MET and MnDot 
  • Demonstrated organizational and communications skills.
  • An PTOE or AICP would be a plus
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
