WSP is currently initiating a search for a Multi-modal Transportation Planning Intern for our Portland office for the Spring quarter, with the possibility of extending to the Summer.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • General planning support, including data collection, research, and documentation
  • Assist in geospatial, statistical, and operations data
  • Contribute to the development of statewide and regional transportation plans, corridor plans, transit plans, feasibility studies, alternatives analysis, community outreach materials, planning reports, environmental documentation, and other analyses

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current standing as a Graduate student actively enrolled in a Planning, Public Policy, Economics, Environmental Studies or other relevant Graduate program
  • Knowledge of planning, public policy, engineering, and/or political science
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products
  • The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.
