*D.R. Horton, Inc.*is currently looking for an*_Vendor Setup Assistant Manager_*. The right candidate willsupervise the Vendor Maintenance function ensuring vendor setups and edits have met all guidelines established by corporate policy with regard to contracts, insurance and governmental compliance.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Provide support and training to division and corporate personnel related to vendor setup, insurance and IRS rules
* Assist divisions with vendor setup processing
* Assist division, region and corporate personnel with systems questions/issues or other needs related to vendor setup
* Assist Vendor Setup Manager with analysis and procedure/policy implementations
* Inform divisions and corporate accounting staff of significant changes in the vendor setup or insurance process
* Document procedures related to vendor setup on multiple accounting systems
* Support staff and field division questions and requests related to vendor setup issues
* Review the workload and accuracy of ten-twelve vendor setup staff positions
* Prepare annual personnel reviews of staff supervised by position
* Coordinate with other corporate personnel any and all issues with divisions
* Review vendor setup compliance for proper internal controls
* Run, review and prepare 1099 files for upload to third party tax reporting vendor
* Oversee year end 1099, 1042 and 3922 tax filings
* Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
* Prepare special projects for various departments related to the vendor files and records
* Work with IT department to enhance and make the vendor setup process more automated, while maintaining controls
* Review and analyze when additional staffing is required to optimize workloads
* Ability to travel overnight

* Supervises 2 or more employees
*Education and/or Experience*
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or a related field from a four-year college or university
* Four to six years related experience and/or training
* Possess advanced Excel skills
* Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail
* Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
* Proficiency with MS Office and
*Preferred Qualifications*
* JD Edwards experience a plus
