About the Position:

Hiring for a Vice President of Solar Construction.

Requirements:

10+ years of total work experience and at least the last 5-7+ years in renewable energy construction (Solar).

Has held a leadership position overseeing at risk solar construction (DG, Community Solar, C&I Solar, Storage) between 500kw - 10mw.

Direct and quantifiable leadership success, holding safety as #1 priority, followed by delivering projects on time and under budget.

Experience being a player/coach and driving the teams success while not being afraid to be involved and participate (as needed) in high volume (50-60 projects annually).

Ability to travel 50% of the time to visit projects sites.

Fundamental understanding of High voltage T&D as it relates to Solar installation / construction

Experience working in a high-volume project environment and being able to schedule, prioritize, management, and efficiently track and organize information to produce exceptional results.

Experience establishing procedures, processes, protocols, and has given thought to what your management philosophy is and is able to articulate this philosophy easily and receive buy-in from the team.

Ability to explain complicated subjects in an elementary fashion so that all parties understand.

Ideal individual for this role prides themselves on being up to speed and articulate with various softwares or technologies that create efficiency within the business. Must have demonstrated computer acumen and be able to lean into technology in scenarios that it can make repetitive task easier and / or software that can provide better analysis / data / insights for decision making.
