Our Circleville design center located at 11272 U. S. Route 23, Lockbourne, OH 43137 is looking for a Warranty Representative. Our Warranty Representatives manage the overall warranty process of Schumacher Homes. The Warranty Representative is responsible for working with the homeowners to evaluate warranty concerns and subsequently correct and/or schedule follow up with trade partners to insure homeowner satisfaction. This position offers a competitive salary, company vehicle, plus advancement potential.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Covered warranty items are to be repaired by Warranty representative on the initial visit, unless it is determined by the GM that a trade partner should be responsible or the work involved will require the assistance of additional personnel.
• Accurately qualify construction deficiencies to allow issues to be resolved on the first visit.
• Adhere to all warranty procedures.
• All warranty items are to be completed and all service orders are to be signed by homeowner.
• May be required to help builders perform punch out on jobs under construction to provide zero defects at closing.
• Ensure trades follow all Schumacher Homes quality standards.
• Responsible for completion of service work orders within 14 days.
• Maintains cleanliness and maintenance schedule for assigned vehicle.
• Document all repairs, materials and labor to complete each job.
• Responsible for following all job site rules per company standards, training and documentation.
• Trains trade base on Schumacher standards of quality and cleanliness.
• Train homeowners to use and operate mechanical systems of homes.
• Attend and participate in company meetings as required.

• Prior scattered-site residential construction experience (preferred).
• Technical construction knowledge to understand construction processes and terminology to assist in management of field personnel and systems.
• Effective time management skills to manage a busy work environment. The ability to schedule and organize multiple jobs is critical.
• Computer experience – the ability to use technology (Smart Phone, I-Pad). Experience with Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence.
