Job Description:

Parsons is conducting a search for a WOAC Instructor/Writer to instruct courses for US Army Cyber School, Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE). The Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) provides education and training support to the United States (U.S.) Army, foreign military, other services, and civilian personnel for military occupational specialties and professional development. The CCoE consists of the U.S. Army Signal School and U.S. Army Cyber Schools, and the Cyber noncommissioned Officers Academy (CNOCA). The CCoE trains Signal and Cyber advanced individual training (AIT), functional training, and professional military education (PME). In this role, you will develop and instruct TRADOC approved Programs of Instruction (POI) to enlisted, warrant officer and officer students within the Cyber School. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge and experience instructing complex cyber and cybersecurity subjects to a student audience and have a firm grasp on TRADOC policies as it pertains to classroom instruction.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Responsible for meeting all certification and qualification requirements outlined in TRADOC Regulation 350-70.
  • Responsible for being prepared to deliver performance-oriented training using the TRADOC-approved Program of Instruction (POI) and in compliance with the task order defined instructor-to-student ratios, and equipment to student ratios.
  • Responsible for preparing classroom or training areas prior to student arrival and subsequently returning training devices as needed.
  • Responsible for applying advanced instructional methods and adult learning models to training.
  • Responsible for conducting and assessing student critiques to identify strengths, weaknesses, and actions to improve performance.
  • Responsible for scheduling remedial training as needed; conducting academic counseling; reviewing and grading homework projects and tests.
  • Responsible for reviewing a student's record for progression; preparing and forwarding required documentation on student release prior to graduation.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least five (5) years of instructional experience.
  • Must complete TRADOC Common Faculty Development Program (CFPD) prescribed for the course being taught within 30 days of hiring. CFPD includes the Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), Foundation Instructor Facilitation Skills Course (FIFC), Intermediate Facilitation Skills Course (IFSC), and Faculty Development Course (FDP1).
  • CEMA/SIGINT (SME)
    • Graduate of the 170A WOAC, 290A WOAC, 170B WOAC, or 352S WOAC.
    • Two (2) years' of operational military EW experience at the brigade-level equivalent or

higher, military experience with a CEMA and/or Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) background.

  • Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Instructor: (Journeyman)
    • Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, telecommunications

engineering, physics, or a closely related field from an accredited program of study.

  • One (1) year technical experience or operational background in Telecommunications,

Electrical, and its sub set, Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering.

  • Strong background in mathematics
  • At contract start date possess a Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility and maintain the required security clearance throughout the life of the contract.

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
