Job Description Summary

As a HRIS Analyst working for Taylor Morrison you will be responsible for review, analyze, evaluate and support of the HR business systems and user needs. This position will be responsible for working with our Workday tenant support partner with documenting requirements, defining project scope, and coordinating testing in the Workday HCM system. This position will also be responsible for the day to day Workday maintenance and updates and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

What Youll Do

  • Responsible for ongoing support and updates to Workday
  • Facilitate and maintain the relationship between Taylor Morrison and our Workday tenant support partner
  • Work with our tenant support partner to Build and Maintain Feature Adoption Planning Roadmap
  • Facilitate cross-functional solutions across HR, Payroll and HCM domains
  • Provide subject matter knowledge on key business processes driving towards decisions and recommending best practices related to Workday functionality
  • Conduct working sessions with business users to gather, understand and analyze business requirements
  • Work in a team environment that includes client interactions, workstream management, and cross-team collaboration
  • You are willing to perform other duties as assigned

Sound Like You?

  • Overall 4-5 years of HR experience and 2-3 years of Workday experience.
  • Working knowledge of following business areas: Human Resources, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Absence Management, Talent and Performance Management, Payroll Interface / Payroll, Time Tracking, Integrations
  • Working knowledge in multiple areas: Workday Studio, Connectors, EIBs/iLoad solutions
  • Understanding of Workday security and business process knowledge.
  • Understand Workday reporting (calculated fields, Workday business object model)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business process flows in Human Resources, Employee and Manager Self-Service.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

FLSA Status: Exempt

Will have responsibilities such as:

  • Office or non-manual work, which is directly related to management or general business operations
  • Act as a primary component of which involves the exercise of independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance

  • Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
  • Ability to have face to face conversations with customers, co-workers and higher level manager
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle if applicable
  • Comply with company policies and procedure

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

*Taylor Morrison experience and/or successful completion of training program may override required education and/or experience requirement.
