Job-Specific Insights The Alternative Project Delivery (APD) Division is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to join our team and help advance VDOT’s nationally recognized Design Build program. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the fastest growing sectors in transportation by supporting the delivery of large, complex, and high visibility highway and bridge projects across the Commonwealth.
As an Engineering Program Manager, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary District and Division teams to shape the technical foundation of successful Design Build project delivery. Responsibilities include developing technical requirements, preparing contract documents, implementing and monitoring policies and procedures, managing staff and supporting the execution of major infrastructure projects that directly impact mobility, safety, and economic growth.
