Responsibilities

  • Oversee facility maintenance across industrial, commercial, and mixed-use buildings
  • Schedule and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Manage a team of 6-15 maintenance personnel, fostering training and development
  • Maintain safety compliance and enforce safety regulations
  • Coordinate with vendors for specialized services and supplies
  • Inspect equipment regularly, including forklifts, HVAC systems, plumbing, and carpentry elements
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, although such occurrences are rare
  • Track and manage maintenance budgets under $100K
  • Utilize Excel and CIS software to manage electronic work orders and reporting
  • Document maintenance activities and prepare regular reports

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in building maintenance
  • Expertise in preventive maintenance and project management
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Proven ability in team leadership and vendor management
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations and compliance
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Building Maintenance or a related technical field
