Description

• Name: Project (PRJ) ISTOP and various Health Cluster projects as needed within the agency. The Department of Health Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement (BNE) is currently using SybaseIQ and PowerBuilder for their reporting needs. Approximately 40-50 reports have been developed in the current environment which serves internal DOH staff only. It contains PHI and controlled substance data. This project will focus on the migration of SybaseIQ to MS SQL Server and Oracle databases. It will also focus on the conversion of PowerBuilder Reports to Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).
  
  The current version of Sybase is no longer supported, and there is no support/maintenance contract between DOH and Sybase . Also, Sybase will not be supported at the ITS Enterprise level.
  
  Provide a list of the day to day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate: Daily Tasks will include but not limited to the following:
  
  1. Analyze the current architecture and processes in order to accurately develop an executable conversion plan;
  
  2. Create and maintain requirements documentation which will include defining current processing and architecture and new processes and architecture;
  
  3. Adhering to a project timeline and related project activities;
  
  4. Using ETL software, develop ETL process to meet requirements as defined in requirements documentation and data models;

• Develop business intelligence reports to meet requirements as defined in requirements document.

Mandatory Qualification

Database Architect determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviews objectives with clients; evaluates current systems; provides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems. Senior: 60 - 84 months. Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others.

• 72 Months Experience with Oracle OBIEE 11g presentation layer, dashboards, analyses development, OBIEE Repository development and BI Publisher Objects. 2. 36 Months Experience with INFORMATICA 9.x or higher in a data warehouse environment implementing warehousing concepts, complex mapping and merging data from multiple source systems such as Sybase IQ, ORACLE, XML, and flat files. 3. 36 Months Experience with OBIEE Repository Migration and Catalog Migration to Production Environment. 4. 84 Months Experience developing complex SQL, PLSQL with Oracle 8g, 9i, 10g or higher to migrate data (i.e. Sybase IQ to Oracle dimensional model). 5. 48 Months Experience with developing dashboard page and landing page using HTML, CSS JavaScript.
  
  6. 36 Months Experience writing UNIX scripts to validate and ftp files, and for calling Informatica workflows.
  
  7. 36 Months. Experience converting complex PLSQL such as stored procedures to Informatica mappings.
  
  8. 18 Months Experience with Pentaho.
  
  9. Bachelor s degree in computer science, information science, engineering, or mathematics.
