The Director of Capacity Building and Coaching will build and lead a department within Urban Strategies to provide capacity-building and coaching services. The En Conjunto program strengthens Latino congregations by enhancing organizational capacity and engaging donors to support vibrant, thriving faith communities. The program offers faith-based organizations and leaders a range of services, including administrative support, organizational development consultation, holistic community development coaching, and access to funding opportunities in coordination with partner institutions.

This role will develop a strong coaching team to support congregations and other faith-based organizations, as well as contribute to Urban Strategies' broader programs. The Director will play a key role in planning, coordinating operations, and evaluating program impact.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and experienced leader in organizational coaching and capacity-building for faith-based organizations. They bring expertise in coaching, organizational development, administration services, strategic planning and implementation; deep understanding of Hispanic communities, holistic community development, and Christian traditions; strong team leadership, relationship-building, and operational management skills.

The candidate excels at designing and implementing systems that connect and equip stakeholders, fostering collaboration among churches, community partners, and organizations. With experience in program design, leadership, or community engagementideally in faith-based or nonprofit settingsthe candidate brings both vision and structure to initiatives that create lasting impact.
