Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Helper to assist our team of electricians in various tasks related to commercial electrical installations. The ideal candidate will have past experience in commercial electrical field and a willingness to learn and grow to develop their skill set.

Duties

- Assist electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment commercial project setting.

- Perform tasks such as running conduit, pulling wire, and mounting electrical boxes.

- Support in troubleshooting electrical issues under the guidance of experienced electricians.

- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

- Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus.

- Knowledge of frame carpentry techniques would be beneficial.

- Previous experience as an commercial electrician helper is advantageous.

- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions closely.

- Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols.

- Knowledge of building codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code).

- Proficiency in using related tools and equipment.

- Capability to read and understand electrical blueprints.

- Dependable transportation and ability to arrive on time, ready to work.

- Ability to lift 50lbs+, climb ladders, work in both climate controlled and non climate controlled spaces.

- Capable of taking instruction and working independently.​

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
