Job-Specific Insights VDOT’s Richmond District Construction Program is seeking a Construction Inspector Senior to monitor and inspect roadway, structure, and bridge construction projects of routine to moderate complexity. Responsibilities include inspect all phases of highway construction and maintenance projects under the general supervision of senior or supervisory staff, ensuring construction quality in accordance with plans and specifications and providing a quality transportation system for the traveling public. Opportunities are available in our Richmond District Location in Ashland Residency.
In addition to a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, a $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates. A 12-month tenure agreement is required.
