D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an HR Coordinator-FS. The right candidate will coordinate the hiring process with the Human Resource Department as well as managers to ensure that new employees hired are according to company policy. Participate as a team member to manage employee field requests and document employee position changes.



 



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.




  • Communicate directly with department managers to assist them in their responsibilities including hiring, onboarding, and adhering to new hire policies and procedures

  • Facilitate postings of new and replacement positions

  • Manage the requests for PXT and knowledge assessments

  • Prepare and send offer letters for new positions. Order the background checks for perspective new hires. Provide the new hire orientation

  • Process salary increases, bonuses, transfers, promotions, and terminations

  • Assist candidates as they navigate the application process in Taleo

  • Assist Accounting with compensation agreements and commission setups

  • Update the organization chart quarterly for Financial Services

  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

  • Able to work overtime


  • Able to travel overnight


 

Qualifications

 

Education and/or Experience




  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university

  • Three to five years of related experience and/or training

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications

  • Proficiency with MS Office and email

  • Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision

  • The noise level is generally moderate
