SUMMARY
Mortenson is seeking a Project Clerk for our Civil Operating Group to provide administrative support for the on-site construction engineering team; position is located at our project in Wynne, AR.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform clerical tasks and operate basic office equipment
- Take incoming calls, answer general information inquiries, and forward them to the appropriate staff
- File and maintain written and electronic documentation and correspondence
- Prepare materials for design and construction meetings, record meeting minutes
- Support Superintendent with equipment inventory, tracking and organizing, and timecard data entry for all craft workers
- Receive, sort, and log all incoming deliveries; prepare all outbound deliveries
- Ensure procurement of office supplies and consumable materials
- Schedule, track, and record all repairs and standard maintenance for the work trucks
- Provide maps and directions for visitors to the site including subcontractors, new employees, and delivery personnel
- Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in business or a related administrative field is strongly desired
- Minimum two years of construction office support experience
- Current driver’s license
- Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
- Microsoft Office, project and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level
- Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills
- Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback
