Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and hardworking waterproofing team member to help lead jobs alongside the Foreman and ensure each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards. This role helps review job details, prepare materials and equipment, assign and complete work tasks, train installers, communicate with customers, and keep the job moving from start to finish.

The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, safety-focused, and comfortable working in crawlspaces, basements, and other residential job sites. This position requires strong communication skills, leadership ability, attention to detail, and a willingness to step into the Foreman role when needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review job specifications with the Foreman to determine the materials, tools, and equipment needed for each project.
  • Help load trucks with the proper materials, tools, and equipment before leaving for the job site.
  • Assess job site conditions upon arrival and help plan the order of work, time needed, tools required, and installer responsibilities.
  • Adjust to job site conditions, troubleshoot issues, and help make on-site decisions to complete the job properly and efficiently.
  • Assign tasks to installers and help keep the crew focused, productive, and moving toward job completion.
  • Train and motivate installers on proper material handling, tool use, waterproofing methods, foundation repair methods, and company installation standards.
  • Ensure all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines are followed on every job.
  • Track installer hours and assist with required job paperwork.
  • Step into the Foreman role and perform Foreman responsibilities when the Foreman is not present.
  • Communicate with customers throughout the job to help them understand the work being performed and any changes to the original job scope.
  • Make sure customers are informed of any job changes before the work is completed.
  • Provide customers with required paperwork at job completion.
  • Communicate with the Production Manager or Production Department as needed regarding job progress, changes, issues, or completion.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and turn it in to the proper team members.
  • Maintain regular, reliable on-site attendance.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Provide customers with a professional and positive experience.


Ideal Candidate

  • Has experience in waterproofing, foundation repair, construction, crawlspace work, or a similar trade.
  • Is comfortable working in physically demanding environments.
  • Can lead by example and help keep a crew productive.
  • Communicates professionally with customers and team members.
  • Pays attention to quality, safety, and job details.
  • Can troubleshoot and adapt when job site conditions change.
  • Is dependable, punctual, and willing to take ownership of the work.
