The AES Team Supervisor oversees the Design Technologies Support Section, leading a team of specialists who provide statewide technical support for VDOT’s design‑related software, including Power GEOPAK, ProjectWise, Bentley OpenSuite applications, Bluebeam, and IdenTrust. The supervisor ensures timely, high‑quality assistance to internal divisions and external consultants, coordinates and schedules virtual Bentley software training, and supports continuous improvement of design technology workflows.
The role also collaborates closely with Plan Coordination to support Tier II Right of Way and Construction plan reviews and works with the Plan Library Specialist to maintain and provide access to statewide highway plan archives. Overall, the supervisor ensures smooth operations, strong customer service, and consistent technical standards across the Engineering Directorate.
